The eResources Voting Exchange (EVE) allows college library staff to suggest eresource products for potential trials and consortial offers. During designated voting periods (April, June, and December), the submitted products are then reviewed and ranked by college library staff. Products with high rankings are investigated for offer feasibility.
eResource vendors can also submit products, but they cannot participate in the voting process. Vendors can find relevant policies and more details about the selection of eresource products on the Information for Vendors page.
EVE makes the process of selecting new eresource products more streamlined and democratic by empowering college library staff to suggest, review, and rank eresources.
How EVE Works
Complete the EVE Product Submissions form to submit an eresource product. There are separate submission forms for college library staff and for vendors. To ensure you are using the correct form, college library staff must check that they have signed into the website in the upper right-hand corner.
eResource products can be submitted at any time. However, to ensure the process is efficient and equitable, voting takes places three times a year—April, June, and December. Outside of these times, the product list is unavailable.
During voting periods, college library staff can review the list of submitted products and designated voters may rank products according to their level of interest.
