Collaborative Library Services Platform (CLSP) Project - Final Agreement Signed with Ex Libris

The Ontario Colleges Library Service (OCLS) and College Libraries Ontario (CLO) are thrilled to announce that the final Agreement with Ex Libris for the Alma Library Services Platform (LSP) and Ex Libris Primo VE discovery and delivery solution has been signed by OCLS on behalf of the college libraries participating in the Collaborative Library Services Platform (CLSP) Project.

Eighteen college libraries are participating in the CLSP partnership. The project is sponsored by College Libraries Ontario (CLO), the collaborative body of 24 college libraries that advocates on behalf of students for the best college library services and resources, and is supported by the Ontario Colleges Library Service (OCLS).

The collaborative implementation of the Ex Libris solution is made possible due to a one-time grant from the Ministry of Colleges and Universities and eCampusOntario. It will increase capacity for quality online learning, provide the infrastructure to support equitable access to digital resources and services, improve user experience, facilitate cost savings, and achieve enhanced metrics.

Implementation has started and the new system is expected to go live in the summer of 2022.
