eResources webinar call for presenters

June 21, 2019

Last year, OCLS hosted a webinar providing the Ontario college libraries with the opportunity to showcase and share innovative practices for managing eresources. We had a great turnout and interest for more, so we would like to host another one this upcoming fall.

At this time, we are looking for volunteers to present on any of their practices that could be interesting or useful to other college libraries. Please consider any tools, procedures, or practices that help your library manage eresources in areas such as:

  • Evaluation and assessment
  • Managing multiple formats (including digital audio/video and data)
  • Workflows or automation
  • Troubleshooting
  • Licensing and permitted uses
  • Access & authentication
  • Marketing
  • Accessibility
  • Metadata

We would like to keep the topics pretty broad so the only restriction is that your topic pertains to eresources.

If you’d like to volunteer to present at the webinar, please contact Holly with a short paragraph on the topic you’d like to present on no later than September 27, 2019.  The webinar will take place in late October/ early November. The final date will be determined mid-October. OCLS will provide the webinar platform and record the webinar for those that are unable to attend.
